For those that have been following along and waiting, we are closing in on finishing the building, but not done yet. John and I are building this ourselves and life happens around us so sometimes we have to veer off and come back to it. It has been a busy fall with myself doing Common Ground and other art fairs which helps us raise money to complete the building. Then we had to do our actual chores of splitting and stacking wood and winterizing the homestead! But we are back now, working to complete the building with the hope of having it open by January! This will house all of our fine art classes, silversmithing, ceramics, hand building and wheel throwing, some woodworking classes, sound baths, yoga classes and much more. We are in the process of framing and installing windows and doors, and building the deck. We are hoping to be dried in with the deck and handicapped ramp soon. Then we will be able to begin offering classes over the winter with a grand opening of a hopefully completed building this spring so we can run a full roster of programs and workshops! If you know of a group or program that could benefit from art and traditional skill learning and would like to partner, please contact us. We are very excited to finally realize our dream! I will be updating our “classes” page soon to reflect this winters offerings. Check back to see what we will be offering this winter and the spring of 2027!
